Description
In Zion National Park, the Virgin River cuts a spectacular canyon through the navajo sandstone. At one particularly spectacular bend in the river, known as the Temple of Sinawava, spectacular vistas in every direction compete for the visitors' attention. Yet perhaps one of the most peaceful scenes at this location is not of the towering cliffs or thundering waterfalls, but instead composed of the small details at the bank of the river. Here, the small stones and smoothly flowing water show a different side of the erosive process that has created the canyon, as evidenced by this long-exposure macro shot of the rounded and weathered stones. Limited-edition hand-signed prints are available directly from the artist. Contact Adam Pender directly for more details.
