On Burnt Mountain above Snowmass, Colorado, a small trail leads up the mountain. At nearly 10,000 feet, this grove of trees is just below treeline, and exposed to frequent mountain storms. Earlier on this day, heavy rain dampened the ground and enhanced the color of the plants and trees.
Adam is a self-taught photographer who started taking pictures on a winter camping trip in northern Minnesota. Now based out of Denver, with frequent travel, his photographic portfolio has been expanded beyond fine art landscapes to include a variety of other subject matter from coast to coast and beyond.
