Artist's Description
In Blackstone Bay, an inlet in Alaska's Prince William Sound, a small creek cascades down a vertical cliff before entering the sea. Standing in the waterfall, resolute against the erosive force of the pounding water, a small rock splits the flow. On this rock, three determined pine trees grow in an environment which is certain to never lack moisture.
About Adam Pender
Adam is a self-taught photographer who started taking pictures on a winter camping trip in northern Minnesota. Now based out of Denver, with frequent travel, his photographic portfolio has been expanded beyond fine art landscapes to include a variety of other subject matter from coast to coast and beyond. His photography continues to be fueled by his love of adventure and exploration, and frequently reflects his unique view of the world around him. He has done limited gallery exhibits, most notably as a "Featured Artist" at The Altitude Gallery in Breckenridge, Colorado.
