Artist's Description
In Everglades National Park, on the western side of southern Florida, a large lagoon system known as the Ten Thousand Islands extends from the Gulf of Mexico into Chokoloskee Bay. This intricate network of islands is made up predominantly of tangled masses of mangrove trees. Here, a single mangrove tree takes root in the shallow water, and a new island is born. Hand-signed prints on a variety of media are available directly from the artist. Inquire via email for details.
