On the edge of the West Elk Wilderness in the mountains above Aspen, Colorado, on the shore of Maroon Lake, a healthy group of aspen, spruce, and lodgepole pine trees rise from a small rock outcrop. Through the calm, clear waters of Maroon Lake, a number of trees are visible on the bottom of the lake. Limited-edition hand-signed prints are available directly from the artist. About Adam Pender
Adam is a self-taught photographer who started taking pictures on a winter camping trip in northern Minnesota. Now based out of Denver, with frequent travel, his photographic portfolio has been expanded beyond fine art landscapes to include a variety of other subject matter from coast to coast and beyond. His photography continues to be fueled by his love of adventure and exploration, and frequently reflects his unique view of the world around him.
