In Santa Cruz, California, the sheltered waters of Monterey Bay gently lap against the beach below Santa Cruz Wharf as the tide goes out, exposing seaweed-covered rocks. Beyond, the city lights peacefully flicker on as dusk falls, illuminating palm trees from below, with the Santa Cruz Mountains in the distance.

About Adam Pender
Adam is a self-taught photographer who started taking pictures on a winter camping trip in northern Minnesota. Now based out of Denver, with frequent travel, his photographic portfolio has been expanded beyond fine art landscapes to include a variety of other subject matter from coast to coast and beyond. His photography continues to be fueled by his love of adventure and exploration, and frequently reflects his unique view of the world around him.
