At roughly 12,000 feet above sea level on Trail Ridge Road in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park, a fast-moving afternoon thunderstorm moves toward Longs Peak. At 14,259 feet, Longs is the highest point in the park, and a classic target for mountaineers.

Adam is a self-taught photographer who started taking pictures on a winter camping trip in northern Minnesota.
