Between Davenport and Santa Cruz, on California's Pacific coast, Shark Fin Cove is an impressive example of coastal erosion from Pacific storms. The Shark Fin, a rocky outcrop standing just offshore, gets its name for obvious reasons. In this long exposure taken just after sunset, the crashing waves are rendered as a ghostly blanket of cotton, contrasting with the rough, sharp, and crumbling rocky cliffs.

Adam is a self-taught photographer who started taking pictures on a winter camping trip in northern Minnesota. Now based out of Denver, with frequent travel, his photographic portfolio has been expanded beyond fine art landscapes to include a variety of other subject matter from coast to coast and beyond. His photography continues to be fueled by his love of adventure and exploration, and frequently reflects his unique view of the world around him.
