Description
Between Davenport and Santa Cruz, on California's Pacific coast, Shark Fin Cove is an impressive example of coastal erosion from Pacific storms. The Shark Fin, a rocky outcrop standing just offshore, gets its name for obvious reasons. In this long exposure taken just after sunset, the crashing waves are rendered as a ghostly blanket of cotton, contrasting with the rough, sharp, and crumbling rocky cliffs.
